The amazing and always creative talent Annie Lennox (yes, Virginia, she was 1/2 of the Eurythmics not so so long ago) came up with a glorious Christmas CD a couple of years ago. This song already one of my faves as the more astute blog readers surely know is one of my favourites. And you can always count on Annie to embellish a song in a good way. Who else would have brought in the children's choir that actually embellishes the song rather than detracts. I should have guessed as Annie is one of the few people who could come up with a startlingly new and original arrangement to one of my all time favourite non-Christmas tunes "Whiter Shade Of Pale"
