Classic Christmas Tunes 500 - Grandaddy - Alan Parson In Winter Wonderland

Wow Wow ! and by Dec 1st too. We did it thanks to you! At least your inspiration. 500 songs - Awesome! As you can imagine, I have no intention of stopping but may slow down the frenetic pace. Appropriately, it is Grandaddy who puts us over the top. Who else but Grandaddy would dare to compose and record a song about Alan Parsons? Plus, as an added bonus, at least for us, they make it into a Christmas song.Wow, aren't we the fortunate ones? Who is Alan Parsons you might, rightly, ask? He is famous in British musical circles as engineer that recorded "Dark Side Of The Moon' for 'Pink Floyd' then went on to a successful career as producer for such luminaries as Al Stewart (yes, "Year Of The Cat" was an Alan Parsons production) as was"Magic' by 'Pilot'and "Music" by John Miles. as if this wasn't already a stellar resume, Alan went on to create The Alan Parsons Project with his former collaborator Eric Woolfson, thereby, creating such masterpieces as 'Tales of Mystery and Imagination' (about Edgar Alan Poe), 'I, Robot' and "Eye in the Sky' to mention only a few. Nevertheless, back to Grandaddy, they have gone on to create the most Alan Parsons sounding song imaginable, all draped in a winter wonderland context. Check it out! I expect you will love it. see if you catch the "time keeps flowing like a river' reference.
