Attentive listeners out there (yes, Andy,JJ, and Mandy) will recall already hearing this song done in a slightly more conventional version by Ireland's awesome band 'Pugwash'. XTC composed and issues the original version as a single release using the Christmas disguise 'The Three Wise Men'. Delivered in their patented quirky style. Goodness, even the vocals are quirky. Nonetheless, the song is such a masterpiece nobody complains.
