Here is The wonderful ballad from the animated 1982 short movie"The Snowman" Peter Auty, a 13 year old choirboy from St. Paul's Cathedral, London, (depite originally being uncredited) sang the version you hear in the movie. Shortly after the airing of the movie, Welsh choirboy Aled Jones was hired to sing the song for a TV commercial. The commercial proved so popular, that a record was rush the the released and soon entered the pop charts becoming a hit. Everyone has their favorite version. A recent version by Finnish singer Kurt Nilsen is rumored to be preferred by female fans for its romantic interpretation. Do you agree ?
Lovely Irish singer Chloe, a longtime Celtic Woman member, also had a highly regarded version
Worth listening to is the Celtic Woman version also featuring Chloe Agnew.
